Privacy
This site sets no cookies for visitors, and no advertising or tracking cookies for anyone. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
Pro subscribers who open their dashboard get two cookies from this site: one keeps them signed in for 30 days, the other tells the site's pages to show "My dashboard". Signing out removes both, on every device.
If you subscribe, your email address is held by our email provider, Buttondown, and used only to send you our emails: the newsletter, a few follow-ups after you sign up, and, on Pro, your alerts, reports and account emails. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Your browser stores a few settings for this site on your own device (light or dark theme, whether help tips are shown, your Explore and dashboard layout). They never leave your browser.
Pro settings (alert filters, watchlist, saved searches, and the companies and notes in your pipeline) are stored with your Buttondown subscription and used only to run your account. If you give a webhook or Slack address, matching raises are sent there and nowhere else.
If you join the Pro Plus waitlist, your email address and your answers (role, price and any note) are stored with your Buttondown subscription. We use the answers only to decide which reports to build, and we will email you when your version is ready.
The Who Just Raised browser extension downloads the list of recent raises from this site and does all matching inside your browser. It reads the current tab's address and title only when you click its button, and never sends the pages you visit, your browsing history or anything else anywhere.
Help videos play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, and only when you press play: nothing from YouTube loads on a page until then.
Company information on this site comes from public SEC filings. A Form D names the company's executives, directors and promoters, and from 17 October 2026 those names and roles are shown to paying subscribers, in their exports and in the outreach kit. They are business facts a company reported about itself, and they are never shown on a public page or in search results.
We do not store or publish the addresses of those individuals, which the filing also contains and which are often home addresses. We hold the name and the role, nothing else. The company's own phone number and ZIP, as given to the SEC, are treated as business details and are shown to subscribers too.
If you are named in a filing and want your name off this site, ask here and it stops appearing within a day — no account, no proof of identity, because the request only ever hides a name. The original stays on the SEC's own site, which we link to from every company page.
