Form D search
Every Form D filed with the SEC is a company telling the regulator it has sold securities privately — in other words, that it has raised money. This is a free, readable search of those filings: 2,268 raises from August 3, 2026 onward, plus a full archive back to 2020.
Search by company name
Use the search box at the top of this page: it matches company names, states and sectors as you type, and goes straight to that company's page, with every Form D it has filed, the amounts, the dates and a link to the original filing on EDGAR.
Search by what you are looking for
Explore is the full search: filter by state, a radius around a ZIP code, sector, business type, deal size, how old the company is, whether it is a first-time raiser, and whether the round is still open. The first 25 results of any search are free.
Or browse
- By state — every US state with a raise, and sectors within each one.
- By city — the towns where money is actually landing.
- By business type — restaurants, clinics, grocers, auto dealers and 28 more, which Form D itself does not record.
- By sector — the SEC's own industry groups.
- By week and by month — including a monthly report for every month since 2020.
What you will not find here
Pooled investment funds and SPVs are left out: about two thirds of all Form D filings come from them, and they are not operating businesses. Real-estate offerings are kept in their own list. Personal names and addresses from filings are never republished. More on all of this in how to read a Form D.
Searching EDGAR directly
If you want the raw filings, the SEC's EDGAR full-text search covers every Form D ever filed. It is authoritative and free, but it returns one filing at a time as submitted: no company descriptions, no way to filter by business type or deal size, and no way to see which rounds are still open.
